At 40-18 Union Street, you’ll find a station referred to as “the Mouse House,” home of Engine Co. 273 and Ladder 129. The folks at Shea Stadium rely on this Engine Co. to come to its aid when fire arises. The fire department has even painted their apparatus to match the New York Mets’ home uniform. We give both baseball and fire memorial enthusiasts fitting replicas to add to their respective collections with the release of this die cast model. This extremely detailed replica is a striking reproduction of the original engine down to the logo and pinstriping of the New York Mets, not to mention authentic FDNY markings.
