Ladder 28
Ladder 28 was organized on January 15th, 1905 in the Harlem Section of
Manhattan. Known as 'The Harlem Hilton', they share quarters with Engine 69 and
Battalion 16. Their quarters are located at 248 West 143rd Street. Ladder 28
operates a 1993 Seagrave 100ft. Rear Mount Ladder. There are four officers (one
Captain and four Lieutenant's) who supervise twenty-five firefighters that are
assigned to Ladder 28.
Ladder 37
Ladder 37 was organized on February 15th, 1908 in the Bedford Park section of
the Bronx. Known as 'The Briggs Avenue Boys', they share quarters with Engine 79
and Battalion 27. Their quarters are located at 2930 Briggs Avenue. Ladder 37
operates a 1994 Seagrave 100ft. Rear Mount Ladder. There are four officers (one
Captain and four Lieutenant's) who supervise twenty-five firefighters that are
assigned to Ladder 37.
Ladder 174
Ladder 174 was organized on April 22nd, 1966 in the East Flatbush section of
Brooklyn. Known as 'Snyder Island', they share quarters with engine 310 and
Battalion 58. Their quarters are located at 5105 Snyder Avenue. Ladder 174
operates a 1994 Seagrave 100ft. Rear Mount Ladder. There are four officers (one
Captain and four Lieutenant's) who supervise twenty-five firefighters that are
assigned to Ladder 174.
