The current Squad 1 was organized December 1, 1977 in the former quarters of Engine 269 at 788 Union Street, Brooklyn. The original Squad Company 1 was organized on April 16, 1955 and shared quarters with Engine 59 in Harlem. They later moved to The Bronx and were disbanded on November 22, 1975. Eleven members of Squad 1 were killed on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center. In 2002 they responded to 1,897 alarms, of which, 1,189 were working fires.
Precision engineered 1/64 die cast replicas of all seven FDNY Seagrave Squad
Each model is pad printed with the standard FDNY graphics, as well as
specific graphics and logos from each individual Squad Company.
Limited edition size of only 3000 sets.
Specially hand crafted wood display complete with die cast medallions of each
Squad Company logo. FDNY full color logo plate and precision cot grooves to hold
each model in place can be purchased.
Officially licensed by the FDNY.
Custom designed four color packaging featuring FDNY graphics and newly
engineered key lock packaging system.
