SQUAD COMPANY 288
Squad Company 288 was organized on July 1, 1998 at 56-29 68th Street, Maspeth and replaced Engine 288 at that location on that day. They share these quarters with Hazardous-Materials Company 1. The original Engine 288 was organized on September 1, 1913 in a firehouse of Maspeth Engine 4 of the Newtown Volunteer Fire Department. They moved to the present quarters in 1914. The company lost eight members on 9/11/2001 at the WTC. Squad 288 responded to 1,827 alarms in 2002, of which, 1,156 were working fires.

Each model is pad printed with the standard FDNY graphics, as well as
specific graphics and logos from each individual Squad Company.
Limited edition size of only 3000 sets.
Specially hand crafted wood display complete with die cast medallions of each
Squad Company logo. FDNY full color logo plate and precision cot grooves to hold
each model in place can be purchased.
