Ladder 147 was organized on May 15th, 1914 in the Kensington/Flatbush section of the Brooklyn. Known as Da Pride of Flatbush, they share quarters with Engine 281. Their quarters are located at 1210 Cortelyou Road. Ladder 147 operates a 1994 Seagrave 100ft Tractor Drawn Aerial. There are four officers (one Captain and three Lieutenants) who supervise twenty-five firefighters that are assigned to Ladder 147.
