FDNY Ladder Company 41

Originally organized as Hook and Ladder 41 back on May 1, 1910, FDNY’s Ladder Company 41 is housed in the West Farms area of the Bronx. It is one of the busiest FDNY ladder companies, responding to 2,425 alarms in 2003, of which 1,812 were workers.

Since inception, nine of their members have received individual medals for valor, in addition to ten Unit Citations for valorous acts by the entire company at fires or emergencies.
